I love being able to work in various roles within the kitchen as it provides me with many different culinary experiences. I also love working for Disney because of the experiences and opportunities available. This experience has helped me become more professional and gain valuable culinary experience. My proudest moment is having one of my dishes selected for a new menu. I am the first Disney Culinary Program participant to get a dish on the menu!
Brian - Chef de Cuisine
I believe Disney stands out because not only are we leaders in the food and beverage industry with what we do with allergies, nutrition, and sustainability, but also because of all the different styles of restaurants and food that you can learn. Whatever your true passion is there is something at Disney that fits it! Quick service, table service, catering, and signature – you name it! So many opportunities.
Kaitlyn - Disney Culinary Program
I love working for Disney because it has provided the opportunity to work with a bigger company and see how they pull off some of the many elaborate events they host year-round. My most exciting and proudest moment while working at Disney is when I was selected to work in the show kitchen for Party for the Senses hosted at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. I love working for different chefs at Disney because it has provided me with a lot of mentoring opportunities to further my culinary education and experience.
Michelle - Chef de Partie
I love working for Disney Cruise Line because of the exposure and unity of the crew. Meeting the bosses from all over the world and sharing the magic of art.
Mie - Disney Culinary Program
It’s always been my dream to work for Disney. You can really do anything at Disney. During my Culinary Program, I got to work hands-on cooking for guests and there was a lot of guest interaction each and every day – the guest interaction was really wonderful. At Disney you have to believe in the magic and enjoy making that happen for people.
Yoly - Pastry Chef
Disney is a great place for Chefs to work. There are so many different styles of baking and pastries that we offer here. Disney has buffet style, table service, quick service, catering, Signature restaurants, Parks, Resorts, breakfast items, and breads to keep the guest happy.
Francisco - Sous Chef
I love cooking, interacting with people and seeing them smile. It's great! I can teach my fellow cast members what I know from my culinary experience and help us become a stronger kitchen.
Tchnavia - Disney Culinary Program
As a Disney Culinary Program participant I work in various stations and make sure that guests’ expectations are met by providing great guest service. My most exciting project was being chosen to work for our Executive Chef for Party for the Senses at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Aside from meeting a lot of great people, I was able to grow personally on this Program.
Tjetjep - Sous Chef
Disney affords its cast members a chance to learn how to create a large variety of different cuisines which makes cooking interesting.
The best thing about working in culinary at Disney is the wonderful cast members I have worked with and all the guests I have met. Both have become like family to me.
Odille - Disney Culinary Program
Working at the bakery, when we have down time, I get to practice my skills. It always feels good to master something. They’ve definitely been very helpful as far as letting me practice. I love the people. Everyone has such a great attitude. It’s fun coming into work; everyone’s in a great mood. It makes you feel at home and you really feel proud of what you do every day.
