Job Summary:

About the Role & Team

In this role you will support in driving the business through sales, marketing and communications initiatives. Thereby, strengthening the position of ESPN Zakelijk as the main sport right for public venues helping them increase their revenues. You are the main contact for all communication and drive sales though improved mailings. You also have the lead on customer care, implementing any improvements where you see fit. You develop, set up and launch new marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and help our customers base. On big marketing initiatives you will partner with and support the Customer Relations Supervisor.  Additionally, you have a joined responsibility with the Customer Relations Supervisor for our website and its continued development. To drive sales, you also run data analytics within our (former) customer base looking for leads, new opportunities, focus areas and interesting developments.  

 

All activities are in collaboration with internal stakeholders such as ESPN marketing, PR, digital and CRM. You also facilitate the sales team on specific requests and support where needed and look after any contract admin.

This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week.

 

What You Will Do

  • Primary contact for all communications to licensees (i.e. sales mails) 

  • Primary contact for our customer service partner and implementing possible improvements 

  • Joint responsibility for our website and customer portal internal and external 

  • Develop and roll out marketing campaign & initiatives supporting the business and our exposure in the marketplace 

  • Develop and launch new or improved sales flows on our website and/or customer portal in collaboration with team as CRM connection could be required 

  • CRM & Data analytics of our existing base and leads to supporting above initiatives 

  • First point of contact on contract admin and to requests from the sales team 

  • Looking for and possibly signing new key accounts 

  • Close collaboration with various internal teams such as ESPN Marketing, ESPN PR, ESPN Digital, ESPN CRM 

  • Support (trade) marketing initiatives for affiliates where needed 

  • Contract administration in our CRM (MS Dynamic) 

 

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with developing new innovative mail campaigns and find joy in developing and improving these 

  • Affinity with website development 

  • Experience with developing & setting up new sales flows and discussing these with developers 

  • Enjoy looking for new opportunities through sales & data analyses 

  • Familiar with sport venues, pubs, leisure and entertainment sector which helps in looking for new leads is a plus 

  • Fluent in Dutch & English, both verbal and written

  • Stakeholder management: knowledge of managing multiple stakeholders from different departments with different priorities 

  • Experience with multiple communication styles to maximise impact and an ability to get results without being the formal leader (internally & externally) 

  • Service oriented, open, flexible, professional and a team player 

  • Proactive attitude to drive improvements and share possible improvements 

  • Ability to learn and implement new information quickly 

 

About Affiliate Sales - Public Viewing (ESPN Zakelijk) 

The affiliate Sales - Public Viewing team is responsible for driving affiliate sales for TV rights in public venues through affiliates, subscription sales, events and key accounts. These sales are supported by mail campaigns, marketing campaigns, strategic partnerships, enforcement and customer care. Leveraging a comprehensive understanding and data points of public venues in the Netherlands. Additionally, the team manages legal situations/cases/disputes and bad debt.
