About the Role & Team
We’re looking for an HR Operations Specialist to join our Global HR Operations (GHRO) team on approximately 6‑month contract, expected to start in October 2026. GHRO team delivers strategic, high-quality HR services and support to employees, managers, and HR partners across the organisation.
As an HR Operations Specialist, you will deliver efficient, accurate, and employee-focused HR support across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll manage a high volume of queries and transactions, provide guidance aligned with local legislation and company policies, and help ensure a consistent and compliant HR experience across the region. You’ll also contribute to process improvements and support projects as the organisation evolves.
This role will be based in our Amsterdam office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.

What You Will Do
Key responsibilities
Respond to a high volume of HR queries across multiple channels (case system, email, chat, in person), covering topics such as leave, pay, onboarding, and offboarding
Interpret and apply HR policies and local legislation to provide accurate guidance to employees at all levels, including executives
Process HR transactions and maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and compliance
Manage key processes such as leave of absence, payroll inputs, contract documentation, and benefits administration
Maintain and update documentation, including SOGs (Standard Operating Guides), and contribute to process improvements
Identify and handle Data Subject Requests (DSRs) in partnership with the Privacy team to support GDPR compliance
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and external providers to resolve queries and deliver seamless service
Deliver excellent customer service, handling sensitive information with professionalism and care
Support reporting, system activities (e.g. testing, issue resolution), and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications & Skills
Degree in a relevant field or equivalent HR Operations/Administration experience
Experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, or a customer-focused environment
Understanding of HR processes and ability to apply policies and local legislation
Experience using HR systems (e.g. Workday, SAP, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow) and Microsoft Office tools
Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative, stakeholder-focused approach
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
