About the Role & Team
Are you a (3D) Motion Graphic Designer and do you want to help build the number one sports channel in the Netherlands? Then we have the perfect job for you!
At ESPN, we are looking for a (3D) Motion Graphic Designer who will play a key role in the visual translation of our brand on-air.
This role will require you to be working 4 days a week in our office and 1 day from home.
What You Will Do
You will help determine what the ESPN viewer sees in terms of promos, commercials, graphics, and sets.
You will be part of a super creative team that brings magic to the beloved media brands of Disney, including ESPN, National Geographic, and STAR Channel.
As a designer with us, you are the driving force behind our visual identity. You are a visual storyteller, and moving images, colours, and shapes make you happy. Additionally, you enjoy proactively contributing to creative concepts. You guard our house style and are crucial for the recognizability of our brand. A large part of your work consists of projects for our sports channel, so a passion for the Eredivisie (Dutch Premier League) and American sports is a plus.
You are a team player but can also work focused and independently. You have a passion for design and animation and know what's 'hip and happening' in the world of Motion Graphics. You follow the trends in your field and love a challenge. You are responsible for creating 3D Motion Graphic assets from concept to final product. You deliver creative content for online, on-air, and print and have a clear vision on 3D Motion Graphics.
Required Qualifications & Skills
You have a relevant MBO (intermediate vocational) or HBO (higher professional) education in design, with a specialisation in 3D Motion Graphics.
You are creative and have an eye for detail, with the skills to meet tight deadlines.
Affinity with Dutch football and American sports is a plus, but not a must.
You are proficient in relevant Adobe programs (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and have expertise in 3D software (such as Cinema 4D or Blender).
You have an energetic, proactive, and hands-on mentality and want to continuously develop yourself.
You have experience working on creative concepts, guarding brand guidelines, and approval processes.
You possess excellent communication skills and enjoy collaborating.
Fluent Dutch & English
What we can offer you:
An informal, dynamic, and inspiring work environment.
Highly creative colleagues and a direct reporting line to the head of the creative department.
A varied job with plenty of scope for creativity and personal initiative.
Good coffee, free fresh fruit, and fun drinks in the Disney Café.
A position at a world leader in the creative industry.
Your work will be seen by an audience of millions.
