Yellow Shoes is the award-winning, in-house agency that develops creative strategies and solutions to support the DX segment by increasing individual results while building the brand and overall Disney reputation.

The Business Support Manager is an internal link to agency operational functions collaborating and managing the financial responsibilities within Yellow Shoes. This role is critical in the coordination and preparation of each monthly, quarterly and year end close, as well as Annual Operating Plan forecasting. This role will liaise with monthly DX segment financial leads to ensure proper reporting and process adherence. In addition, the Business Support Manager will work in tandem with key Yellow Shoes leadership to assist in identifying ways to drive organizational efficiency within the context of financial management and provide training to critical account and production partners on finance specific requirements and protocols.

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with YS and DX segment accounting partners to lead, prepare and report quarterly forecast for project budgets assuring all quarterly spending is on track, identification of any unallocated funds or savings to be returned to DX business unit. Including calculating quarterly program amortization and preparing cause of change analysis and other reports for consolidation and reporting
  • Year-end reporting and all accruals
  • Liaise within YS structure of to ensure all financial/budgetary needs are vetted and validated at the appropriate stages of project lifecycle
  • Collaborate on maintenance and reporting of YS support cost
  • Manage WBS requests
  • Assist as needed in PO support and shopping cart management
  • Provide assistance with any YS/DX historical financial reporting
  • Coordinate with business affairs team on questions or concerns regarding YS contracts, MSAs and vendor information
  • Review of payment documents and invoices for accuracy and appropriate documentation prior to inputting into SAP or Coupa system for payment
  • Lead budget process tutorials to key YS stakeholders (Account, Alliance partners and production, strategy) twice yearly, and when new cast start at YS
  • Work with DX segment leadership to maintain efficiency with ticketing and barter program
  • Facilitate on all competitive bid forms

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel and PowerPoint) and reporting applications (i.e. SAP, Coupa, Sharepoint) and Workfront experience a plus
  • Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial savvy
  • Exhibit solid work ethic, and willingness to learn and develop new skills in a consistently fast-paced environment
  • Exude excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills as well as acute attention to detail
  • Anticipate change and respond to partner priorities with agility
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and resolve issues
  • Solid project management and time management skills
  • Ability to function independently on assigned tasks under moderate direction and supervision
  • General knowledge of Yellow Shoes disciplinary structure (Account, Creative, Production)
  • Proficiency in establishing and maintaining relationships with partners and peers to problem solve and inspire others
  • 5+ years of ad agency finance, marketing financial accounting, or related experience

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in California is $70,000 to $93,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
