Responsibilities:

  • Restore and maintain signage and graphics to Disney’s show quality standards
  • Design and produce new themed signage in collaboration with Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI)
  • Translate WDI sketches, blueprints, and files into finished pieces
  • Provide supporting digital assets to fellow craftspeople
  • Review and clarify work orders and coordinate cross-craft needs
  • Install signage safely using proper tools and PPE
  • Operate and troubleshoot large format printers, cutters, and plotters
  • Independently manage projects while upholding Disney’s standards

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with digital graphic production
  • Proficiency with Windows, CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Illustrator, Gerber Omega, scanning software, and digital photography
  • Strong understanding of graphic design, color theory, and typography
  • Ability to use industry standard layout and production tools
  • Ability to learn MAXIMO
  • Commitment to maintaining Disney’s quality and theming standards
  • Strong color-matching skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Journeyman Level Artist with demonstrable experience of 5 years or more

Additional Information:

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Shifts are typically at night, and individuals must have availability to work Sunday through Saturday, any shift (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift) including holidays, and must be open to any days off.

The pay rate for this role in California is $36.24 $46.53 per hour, which follows the pay scale agreed upon in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
