As the Construction Foreman (known internally as Field Representative), you will manage assigned Construction Projects to support the Facilities and Operations Services (FOS) Facility Asset Management team at the Disneyland Resort.
You will report to the Construction Manager of Facility Asset Management.
Responsibilities/You Will
Scope and perform projects with an emphasis on, quality control, budget management and schedule control.
Manage each assigned project from creation to completion.
Complete projects within approved budget and schedule with the highest quality and in the most cost-efficient manner.
Monitor the project safety program in close coordination with DLR Safety.
Manage final approval for contractor submitted safety plans and compliance to the project safety plan. Includes compliance with all regulatory (OSHA) requirements, corporate governance requirements and DLR safety requirements.
Attend pre and post bid scope reviews/ constructability reviews on projects in design phases.
Develop project implementation strategies and schedules with support of FAM Project Schedulers.
Manage the project schedule, establishing project planning task to ensure schedule compliance and ensuring man loading requirements of the contractor to achieve the desired completion date.
Coordinate operational constraints and job goals together as to achieve a seamless project. Including managing communication with Partners, Clients and Operations Management regarding project status, schedule, financial and guest impacts.
Communicate project information to lines of business client and all impacted Resort divisions and Operations Management.
Basic Qualifications/You Will Have
One year of proven experience with concise technical writing in an academic or work environment.
Construction Supervisor experience of multiple commercial construction projects ranging from $10,000 to $1,000,000.
Academic or work experience interpreting drawings (Architectural drawings or engineering drawings, etc.).
Flexible with work schedule, including different shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Engage with multiple levels of Cast Members and Employees, while promoting agreement on the team.
Identify opportunities to balance urgent requests with long-term team goals.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with several software programs such as construction management software and Microsoft suite of products.
Competent in OSHA Regulations.
Required Education
High School Diploma with four plus years' experience.
Preferred Education
College Degree with an emphasis in project management.
Special classes in building construction (MEP, estimating, reading contract documents)

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $79,400.00 to $106,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographical region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
