As a Strategic Sourcing intern, you will have the unique opportunity to assist with a variety of projects within our Strategic Sourcing department.
The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 – December 2026.
Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship, with an anticipated in-person commitment of 40 hours per week.
This Internship is in Anaheim, CA.
What will you do:
Develop and implement sourcing strategies in alignment with business initiatives and priorities with an opportunity to work with Design and Construction, Facility & Operations Services and Professional Services.
Perform data analysis to find opportunities for cost reduction and value creation (improved quality, cost, service and compliance).
Perform liaison work between Strategic Sourcing and key clients, ensuring efficient bidding, contracting and award methods.
Provide support for sourcing projects, including data analysis and supplier interface.
Develop and implement eRFIs/eRFQs/eRFPs.
Perform external market assessment and opportunity analysis and participate in supplier negotiations
Develop and handle partner and supplier relationships and contract implementations
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Strong digital literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication and leadership skills
Ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision
Professional demeanor, focused, eloquent and well organized
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
It would be great if you have/are familiar with:
Design and Construction Project Delivery
Supply Chain Management industry
Previous theme park work experience
Education:
Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior or Graduate student at an accredited college/university, earning a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related.
GPA of 3.0 or higher (no rounding)
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Additional Information:
• Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
• Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
• Fully available Monday thru Friday, PST for the duration of the internship,40 hours each week
• Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Anaheim, CA area
• Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
The pay rate for this role as an undergraduate in CA is $22.50 /hr. The pay rate for this role as a graduate student in CA is $30.40/hr.
