Job Summary:

Known for its award-winning wine list, remarkable service and delectable dining, Napa Rose is at the top of Guests' lists for a fine dining experience. We are looking for a team member to continue the outstanding legacy of Napa Rose. The Host/Cashier is the first and last person our guests see when visiting our restaurant. This person will greet our guests with a smile and begin their journey with us while also taking heavy phone calls and recording reservations.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional Guest service in a fine dining atmosphere, focusing on creating a high-end dining experience
  • Assist Guests with directions, event schedules and other information and assistance as needed to provide excellent Guest service
  • Record Guest information, quote accurate times based on dining room status and staffing levels
  • Check in Guests into the restaurant and gather Guest information on special events and celebrations
  • Escort Guests to their tables, maintain menu cleanliness, monitor restaurant lobby. Retrieve high chairs, slings and boosters for little Guests. Pull chairs out for Guests
  • Answer phone in timely manner and record reservation bookings, directions and all other questions. Articulate with proper verbiage, refraining from use of slang and phrase fragments
  • Ability to take note of any phone messages and call back Guests with in a timely manner

Basic Qualifications:

  • You must be 18 years of age to be considered for this role
  • 1+ year(s) experience in a high-volume fine-dining restaurant
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently or part of a team
  • Enthusiastic about the Guest experience and growth
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bi-lingual or Multi-lingual
  • 1+ plus years in a luxury Hotel environment

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
