As the Laborer working in the Attraction repairs & Mechanical & Overhaul Teams (AM-MO), you will be in charge of carrying out scheduled repairs, supporting other crafts, and making sure that the stores, attractions, and other backstage spaces are tidy and prepared for use. Upkeep of railroad track, ties, switches, and gravel ballast, as well as cleaning and upkeep of attractions, rivers, and other designated locations, may be additional duties.

Responsibilities:

Material handling:

  • Move soil, equipment and material to assist all trades.
  • Lift, carry, and wheel heavy material.
  • Load and unload material from transport vehicles using hand trucks, dollies and other support devices.
  • Move furniture, lumber, fence railing and other materials.
  • Opens drums, boxes, and other containers.
  • Move soil gravel, equipment, etc.
  • Move parts & materials between shops/buildings
  • Tag parts; update logs; annotate manifests

Park maintenance and cleaning:

  • Sweep and clean streets, paths, tracks, waterways and walkways
  • Dig holes and trenches for trades
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum shops and other assigned areas

Attraction Responsibility:

  • Clean all waterways and dispose of dirt
  • Clean flume, animation and pond areas
  • Clean track and ride path areas
  • Help other trades with their work when/if needed
  • Perform weekly, monthly and annual planned maintenance
  • Replace railroad track components
  • Maintain railroad track profile

General:

  • Operate forklift
  • Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (MAXIMO) to receive work instruction and document time

Basic Qualifications:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age or older to be considered for this role
  • Must have the experience and abilities to perform the duties listed under "Responsibilities" above

Schedule Availability:
  • Must be open to any shift (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift) including holidays, with any combination of days off
