At Napa Rose, Guest service is at the heart of everything we do. As a Wait Help I (Food Runner), you’ll play a vital role in supporting the service team and maintaining the pace, polish, and flow of a coursed fine dining experience. You’ll work closely with servers and service leadership to deliver food with precision, maintain the dining room’s presentation standards, and anticipate needs so Guests feel cared for at every moment.

Responsibilities:
- Support servers and the service team in delivering a seamless, coursed fine dining experience
- Run food with accuracy, urgency, and attention to presentation, timing, and temperature standards
- Assist with table maintenance throughout service, including pre-bussing, clearing between courses, resetting, and maintaining a polished dining environment
- Provide service support such as water service, bread service, refills, and responding to Guest needs as directed by the service team
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and support areas, following sanitation and safety guidelines
- Complete assigned side work to support service readiness (stocking, polishing, rolling/folding, and maintaining supplies and glassware)
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and service teams to support pacing, special requests, and overall flow
- Support premium beverage and wine service through careful handling of glassware and bottles and professional awareness of service standards
- May serve as a Cocktail Server
- Assist Guests with directions, entertainment schedules, and general Resort information as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for this role and comfortable working in an environment where alcohol is served
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated Guest service mindset with a polished, professional presence
- Strong teamwork skills, including the ability to take direction, anticipate needs, and support others proactively
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with Guests, Cast Members, and Leaders
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure
- Commitment to cleanliness, proper sanitation procedures, and safe work practices
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/carry service items (trays, dishes, glassware) as required
Additional Information:
SCHEDULE AVAILABILITYThis location serves Breakfast and Dinner service. Shifts may begin as early as 6:00 AM while some may end as late as 1:00 AM.
- PM Service: Shifts may begin as early as 12:00 PM and end as late as midnight (or later depending on when the last Guest leaves)
- AM Service (Princess Breakfast Adventure): Shifts are typically 6am-2:30pm
- All shift times and hours are subject to change based on business needs
