Custodial Cast Members play an important role in preserving the magic for our Guests. As some of the most visible Cast Members walking throughout our Theme Parks, Custodial Cast Members provide outstanding Guest service while helping maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments on-stage and backstage.
In this role, you may work in a variety of indoor and outdoor locations, interact constantly with Guests, answer questions, provide directions, support the overall Guest experience, and help ensure the Disneyland® Resort remains show-ready throughout the day.

Responsibilities:
Custodial Cast Members provide outstanding Guest service while helping maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments throughout the Disneyland® Resort. As highly visible Cast Members walking throughout the Theme Parks, they interact with Guests, answer questions, provide directions, share event information, and assist with special requests.
Daily responsibilities may include cleaning on-stage and backstage locations such as walkways, attractions, stores, offices, restrooms, parking areas, and other Resort locations. Custodial Cast Members may sweep, mop, dust, remove debris, respond to spills, clean and restock restrooms, empty trash cans, and maintain trash areas.
This role requires Cast Members to work independently and as part of a team while following safety procedures and using cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment safely. Custodial Cast Members play an important role in preserving the magic by helping keep the Resort show-ready for Guests and Cast Members.
Basic Qualifications:
- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
- Able to provide friendly and helpful Guest service
- Comfortable interacting with Guests, answering questions, and providing directions
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to work in indoor and outdoor locations, including in changing weather conditions
- Comfortable performing cleaning responsibilities, including restrooms, trash, spills, and debris
- Able to use cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment safely
- Able to follow instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks, locations, and shift start/end times
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience
- Previous experience in a role requiring heavy lifting and constant Guest interaction
- Previous experience using industrial-grade cleaning equipment, such as buffers, carpet cleaners, ride-on sweepers, or pressure washers
- Willingness to work at various heights
- Valid driver’s license from any state
Additional Information:
SCHEDULE AVAILABILTYOur Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
