Registered Nurse - Guest Health - Part Time

Job Summary:

Responsible for delivery of high quality professional nursing care to Disneyland® Resort Guests. Provides nursing assessment, to Guests related to the human response to illness or injury. Provides first responder care to emergency situations throughout the Resort including triage and Basic First Aid and Life Support. Active involvement in Guest interactions to drive maximum Guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing assessment, to Guests related to the human response to illness or injury
  • Administer Basic Life Support (including the use of an Automated External Defibrillator/AED) when required and provide first aid services to Guests and Cast Members who become ill or injured.
  • Respond to emergency situations requiring carrying medical supplies and equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • Respond to emergency situations on foot throughout the Disneyland® Resort in all types of weather.
  • Push a wheelchair or drive a vehicle to transport ill or injured Guests or Cast Members to any area of the Disneyland® Resort.
  • Document and maintain records related to the nursing treatment/care rendered.
  • Perform document related tasks and maintain the department’s equipment to help keep all work areas clean.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years previous Registered Nurse experience
  • Previous experience with emergency response
  • A.A Degree California
  • Registered Nursing License
  • Valid CA Driver’s License
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
  • Exhibit a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude toward Guests and Cast Members, and maintain the world-class quality of Disneyland Resort experience
  • Must be able to work varying schedules including days, evenings and occasional 3rd shift if needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to multi-task in an efficient manner with solution-oriented work habits
  • Strong documentation skills
  • BA or BA Degree

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am.

The pay rate for this role in California is $36.00 to $38.00 per hour.
