The Creative Producer serves as the primary driving force behind the creation of custom media content for the Disney Parks, Resorts, Ships, and beyond as a part of the Visual Media Production team, a branch of Disney Live Entertainment (DLE) and Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI).
The Visual Media Creative Producer will report to the Manager–Video Systems Design .
This is a casual temporary/seasonal role with no guarantee of weekly working hours, as hours fluctuate based on business needs.
What You Will Do:
Assists with the creative development of a project from “script to screen”
Guides storyboard development and influences creative storytelling at project inception
Builds and maintains Content Tracking Grids
Understand technical specifications required for content creation to ensure production meets those needs
Provides creative leadership and direction
Runs meetings with the full team of artists, both creative and technical
Attend all production meetings, project reviews, design reviews, etc. as needed, having up-to-date content progress available to share
Collaborates with other creative leaders such as lighting, music, lasers, fireworks, and technical video systems as needed
Works with the Production Manager and Producer to establish and keep project milestones and appropriate staffing across the production timeline
Works with the Post Coordinator and PM to ensure files/media etc. get distributed, transported securely, backed up, etc. following accurate security protocols
Applies basic video editing skills to build pre-viz and other project materials
Leads overnight field testing to ensure content progress is meeting standards, taking notes back to the team for adjustments, maintaining communication with partners on content integration progress
Leads field work for live input color correction process, sitting with the colorist to give direction and help guide the work to ensure final looks match design intent
Supervise the rendering process and facilitate smooth communication between artists needing to use the render farm and the systems team
Supervise final delivery of content
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working in a live entertainment production environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
Experience managing a creative project from concept to development
Experience in visual storytelling
Experience using creative software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Maya, Cinema 4D, DaVinci Resolve etc.
Experience pitching to executives and other stakeholders
Ability to work flexible hours - nights, weekends, holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the heritage and culture of The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) and its intellectual property
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in film, theater, or a relevant field or 5+ years experience in media production is required

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim, CA is $40.63 to $54.47 per hour based on a 24 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
