This role reports directly to the Manager, Publicity, Integrated Marketing (Thailand).
 
Job Summary
Disney Entertainment includes the company’s full portfolio of entertainment media and content businesses globally. Within this ecosystem, the Integrated Marketing Team drives strategic, cross-platform marketing initiatives spanning on theatrical releases, ensuring that Disney’s storytelling connects strongly with Thai audiences.
 
The role is responsible for developing and executing integrated publicity campaigns that maximize awareness, audience engagement, and positive media coverage, word-of-mouth (WOM), share of voices (SOV) for Disney's theatrical film releases. This role combines traditional media relations with digital and influencer engagement to generate excitement throughout the film lifecycle. This role will help deliver compelling storytelling that supports box office performance while protecting and enhancing Disney's iconic brands.
 
Areas of Responsibility

  • Support the development and implement publicity strategies for theatrical film releases from announcement through theatrical release and post-release campaigns.
  • Execute and coordinate integrated publicity activities that align with marketing, social media, promotional, and studio distribution initiatives.
  • Identify, engage, and manage relationships with media outlets, influencers, celebrities, digital creators, fan communities, and entertainment personalities whose audiences align with each film's target demographic to maximize word-of-mouth (WOM) nationwide.
  • Developing and executing influencer and content creator strategies that complement traditional publicity campaigns and expand audience reach.
  • Work with agencies to develop press releases, production notes, press kits, talking points, mc script and other publicity materials.
  • Coordinate on global, regional, and local press junkets, red carpet premieres, advance screenings, media tours, and special promotional events.
  • Support publicity activities for filmmakers and talent, including interview scheduling, media appearances, press itineraries, script, and promotional opportunities.
  • Liaise with regional and international publicity teams to support local campaign implementation while maintaining global brand consistency.
  • Monitor media coverage, influencer content, social conversations, and audience sentiment, providing campaign reports and actionable insights.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with publicity agencies and influencer agencies, while tracking campaign timelines and budgets.
  • Support crisis communications and reputation management activities when required.
  • Stay informed on entertainment industry trends, media landscapes, and emerging creator platforms to identify new publicity opportunities.

 
Skills & Experience Requirements
Must-Have Experience

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in publicity, entertainment, public relations, film marketing
  • Experience working in the entertainment industry (streaming, film, TV, music, pop culture brands) strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of media outlets, influencers and celebrities landscape.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in Thai and English.
  • Proactive, resourceful, collaborative, solutions-oriented.

Education & Personal Attributes

  • Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Business Management, or related fields.
  • Numerically inclined, process-driven, and comfortable with structured workflows.
  • Strong personal interest in Korean dramas, US series, Japanese anime, trending digital content, and being an active movie-goer is an advantage.
