In this role you will play a key role in bringing the planDisney program to life through creator-led, digitally integrated storytelling. This role blends content creation, editorial strategy, and technology enablement to inspire, inform, and simplify the Disney vacation planning journey.
Serving as both behind-the-camera producer/editor, and sometimes an on-camera personality, this individual develops compelling, platform-native content that drives simplicity, affordability, and fandom across Disney’s digital ecosystem.
The ideal candidate is a modern content creator—equally comfortable developing editorial strategies, producing and editing content, leveraging emerging technologies, and engaging directly with audiences. They have a strong point of view on digital storytelling, understand how to translate guest insights into content that performs, and thrive at the intersection of creativity, data, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Collaboration & Culture
- Collaborate cross-functionally with partners across Disney Experiences
- Contribute to a team culture that is nimble, creative, optimistic, and forward-thinking
- Support a test-and-learn environment that encourages innovation and fresh ideas
Editorial Strategy & Integration
- Partner with Digital Integration leadership, Content Strategists, Public Relations, and Public Affairs to translate business goals into integrated editorial strategies
- Lead and support content planning and amplification strategies, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time
- Ensure alignment across channels, consistency in voice, messaging, and storytelling
- Identify opportunities to simplify complex planning topics into clear, engaging, and shareable content experiences
Audience Engagement & Insights
- Lead community management efforts with planDisney panelists, engaging with audiences and fostering meaningful connections
- Monitor performance and surface actionable insights, trends, and learnings to inform future content
- Proactively share metrics, case studies, and industry best practices to elevate team performance
Technology, Tools & Innovation
- Leverage content management systems and tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday.com, Teams) to manage workflows and production
- Identify opportunities to optimize processes through emerging technologies
- Continuously explore new tools and formats to enhance storytelling and efficiency
Content Creation & Production
- Serve as content producer/editor, creating engaging, high-quality content across platforms
- Plan, produce, support real-time and evergreen content, including live coverage at events
- Write compelling, platform-optimized copy that drives engagement, community, and SEO performance
- Collaborate with panelists and partners to bring authentic guest storytelling to life
Basic Qualifications
- 1–2 years of professional experience in digital content creation, social media, or communications
- Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms, content trends, and audience engagement
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating and editing digital or social-first content (video, short-form, etc.)
- Familiarity with editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, etc.)
- Understanding of SEO and content performance metrics
- Experience working with content management systems and digital workflows
- Knowledge of Disney Experiences businesses and guest audiences
- Previous Disney experience
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, PR, Digital Media, or related field

The hiring range for this position in Florida is $75,700.00 to $101,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
