About the Role & Team
The Manager, Merchandise Supply Chain leads inventory forecasting, liquidation strategy, and inventory optimization initiatives across more than 200 merchandise locations. You will elevate operational excellence across warehouse and stockroom processes, enhance inventory flow, and support high-quality guest experiences through improved product availability.
This is a full-time salaried role that will report directly to the Sr Manager-F&B/Merchandise Supply Chain.
What You Will Do
- Develop and enhance forecasting models and inventory plans for warehouse, local stockrooms, and in-store replenishment
- Optimize inventory levels, stockroom utilization, and replenishment cadence across all locations
- Lead liquidation and aged-inventory strategies to minimize waste and maximize recovery value
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve warehouse-to-stockroom and stockroom-to-register inventory flow processes
- Analyze sales trends, demand variability, and operational constraints to inform business decisions
- Create clear reporting and KPIs to monitor inventory health, forecast accuracy, and operational efficiency within the warehouse and local stockrooms
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts and specialists
- Present findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, logistics, or merchandise operations
- Experience with forecasting, demand planning, and replenishment management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience managing large-scale, multi-location inventory operations.
- Leadership experience with team development responsibilities
- Proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong communication and influencing skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail, distribution, entertainment, or theme park environments
- Familiarity with SAP, Manhattan, or similar inventory management systems
- Experience with SQL, Python, or advanced analytics tools
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree (MBA or MS in Supply Chain, Analytics, or Operations) and/or professional certifications such as APICS/CPIM, CSCP, PMP, or Six Sigma are preferred

The hiring range for this position is Lake Buena Vista, FL is $110,000.00-$147,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
