About the Role

The Assistant Manager, Talent & Growth (T&G) – India plays a key role in shaping and delivering high-impact onboarding experiences while supporting the execution of broader talent, learning, and organizational development and inclusion initiatives across the India business.

This role is responsible for end-to-end onboarding program management, ensuring a consistent and engaging new hire experience that reflects Disney’s culture, accelerates integration, and supports business growth. In addition, the role partners closely with the Senior Manager, T&G to execute key talent and growth initiatives, contributing to capability building, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness across a fast-growing and dynamic market environment.

Operating within the broader APAC framework, the role ensures strong alignment with regional priorities while tailoring program delivery to India’s business and workforce needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Onboarding Program Management

  • Own and manage the end-to-end onboarding experience for new hires
  • Design and continuously enhance onboarding journeys to support faster integration and productivity
  • Manage stakeholder coordination across People & Culture, business leaders, and facilitators
  • Continuously update, curate and localize onboarding content to reflect business priorities and culture
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate onboarding sessions where required
  • Track onboarding effectiveness and drive continuous improvements
  • Align onboarding with enterprise and APAC frameworks while adapting for local relevance

2. Program Management & Delivery

  • Support the execution of learning, leadership and inclusion programs in the market
  • Manage end-to-end program logistics, timelines, and stakeholder coordination
  • Support the rollout of regional and enterprise T&G programs in India
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure high-quality delivery and execution excellence
  • Contribute to scaling T&G offerings across a growing and diverse employee base

3. Project Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Support the design, implementation, and evaluation of T&G interventions across projects and initiatives
  • Analyze feedback, data, and engagement insights to inform enhancements
  • Support benchmarking and bring in best practices from external markets and industries
  • Identify opportunities to improve program efficiency, scalability, and impact

4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Business Alignment

  • Partner with People & Culture and business stakeholders to align onboarding and program delivery with business needs
  • Build strong working relationships across functions and levels
  • Support communication and change efforts related to T&G initiatives
  • Contribute to ensuring alignment between India priorities and APAC T&G strategy

5. Operations, Planning & Governance

  • Support annual planning and learning calendar management for India T&G initiatives
  • Maintain program trackers, dashboards, and reporting
  • Ensure smooth operational execution with strong attention to timelines, quality, and governance
  • Support documentation and standardization of onboarding and program processes

Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of experience in HR, learning, talent, or program management roles
  • Prior experience in onboarding program management or learning program delivery preferred
  • Strong project management and coordination capabilities, with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working in matrixed environments is a plus
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail with strong execution discipline
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
