Department/Group Description:
The Corporate Real Estate Operations group is responsible for day-to-day facilities and operations management of owned and leased facilities to ensure business is conducted in a clean, safe, and efficient work environment and that the value of Company physical assets is protected and enhanced.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Performs package logistics from receiving, shipping, handling, tagging, and deployment
- Identify potentially dangerous and hazardous materials on vehicles destined for the ESPN Bristol campus
- Tracking incoming & outgoing packages through our software platform for package tracking.
- Creates shipment labels through UPS, FedEx, USPS, Freight, and international packages.
- Manually stacking products onto pallets, wrapping them, and preparing them for transportation
- Utilize an X-Ray scanner to mitigate any threats to our campus from packages received and take ongoing training to stay up to date on the latest procedures and techniques.
- Supports clients by identifying damaged items, miss shipments, returning refused products while also informing vendors and management of each issue.
- Assists Manager by working with vendor(s) in reference to event set ups, as well as the decommissioning of event related items in conference rooms or other areas on the ESPN Campus
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
- High school Diploma
- Knowledge of inventory control and mail services
- Ability to transport heavy objects
- Strong communication & organizational skills to meet deadlines
- Team player
- Driver’s license
Preferred Hiring Requirements:
- College Degree or equivalent
- Previous experience in Distribution services (USPS or other package couriers), a warehouse, or in customer service
- Experience with an X-Ray machine
- Experience with a postal machine
- Experience with WorldShip, Campus Ship, and SC Logic
- Forklift certified
- IATA
- Small Battery Shipping
Other key skills:
- Ability to drive a box truck
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
