About the Role & Program
The intern will support the ESPN International team on marketing and event planning tasks related to the 2025 CAMPUS Invitational, a collegiate basketball event taking place in New York City. The role may also involve supporting other ongoing ESPN International projects as needed. The program dates are June 2nd through August 8, 2025.
What You Will Do
Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns aimed at driving ticket sales and live attendance for the 2025 CAMPUS Invitational
Work closely with various ESPN teams including marketing, events, communications, and operations to ensure alignment across all promotional activities
Conduct audience research, competitive benchmarking, and identify local marketing opportunities in the NYC area
Assist in organizing and executing in-person promotional activations (e.g., campus events, street promotions, pop-ups)
Track and report on marketing campaign performance, ticketing data, and attendance trends
Support general administrative and coordination tasks across ESPN International initiatives
Required Qualifications & Skills
Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Fluent English and Chinese (speaking, reading & writing skills).
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively across teams
Interest in sports marketing, live events, and international project work
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Previous internship or project experience in marketing, event operations, or consumer outreach
Familiarity with college sports culture or live event ticketing strategies
Comfortable in fast-paced environments and working across time zones
Education
Junior or Senior year preferred
Major or previous coursework in Marketing, Event Management, Sports Management, Communications or related major preferred
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
Fully available from Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the New York City area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in New York is $22 per hour.
