Job Summary:

Working at ESPN is unlike anything else. We are constantly finding new ways to connect with fans through sports—wherever and however they engage. This Executive Assistant role provides administrative support to multiple senior leaders within ESPN’s Sports News & Entertainment organization. 

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual capable of achieving results in a fast-paced environment and should possess an ability to maintain confidentiality and manage high-level relationships with sensitivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to four executives, including calendar management, travel arrangements, invoice processing, expense reporting, and preparation of meeting materials
  • Coordinate and maintain Outlook calendars, schedule meetings, and book conference rooms
  • Assist with gathering and preparing materials for meetings, presentations, and events
  • Manage travel logistics and related travel and entertainment expense reports in accordance with company policies
  • Support daily office operations, including coordination with IT, Facilities, and other executive assistants
  • Coordinate team meetings and events as needed
  • Track action items and follow up on behalf of assigned executives to ensure timely execution
  • Proven ability to be resourceful in addressing challenges and providing operational support
  • Interact professionally with ESPN, Disney, and external contacts on behalf of the executives supported
  • Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, discretion, and tact at all times

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing executive or senior-level administrative support in comparable functions
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating executive calendars, meetings, and complex travel arrangements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to quickly learn internal systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and build strong working relationships across teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Concur, Workday
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma

Preferred Education

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant work experience

The hiring range for this position in Bristol, CT is $79,400.00 to $106,500.00 per year based on a 40- hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
