Job Summary:

The Disney Multiplatform Partnerships team is looking for a well-organized, flexible and enthusiastic Multiplatform Partnerships Associate to join our team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, this person will assist with the development and execution of partnership campaigns that drive growth and reinforce the value of ESPN and Disney’s television networks: ABC, Disney, ESPN, Freeform, FX, and the National Geographic Channels and studio properties including Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Pixar, Walt Disney Animation Studios, 20th Century Pictures, and Searchlight Pictures.

Job Summary

The Multiplatform Partnerships team is responsible for initiating, developing, and executing strategic partnerships that drive acquisition, value, demand, and new product launches for the Disney Entertainment portfolio (ABC, ACC Network, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, ESPN Deportes, ESPNEWS, ESPNU, Freeform, SEC Network). Identify strategies and creative assets to support distribution and promotion of these properties to ensure they are on brand. Provide ongoing partnership guidance and support the development of campaigns that meet the brand's objectives and support associated Disney Entertainment goals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as ESPN Distribution Brand Representative; proactively develop content marketing materials and strategically identify promotional opportunities for distribution partners; manage on-going distribution partner requests for assets; communicate usage and subsequent promotional value to the respective network/internal partners

  • Assist in all aspects of brand and partnership campaign activities; collaborate with internal stakeholders as required to execute brand and partner initiatives; build relationships with Network stakeholders (brand, creative services, programming, legal, communication, talent, ad sales, research, etc.); communicate relevant programming and promotional information across team

  • Ensure creative assets are delivered in a timely manner so that projects are completed on time; partner with the internal teams to develop network and sport assets for distribution partner use; manage deliverables from briefing through execution

  • Manage relations with cross functional teams to plan and execute content partnerships, coordinating closely with key business partners including sports marketing, fan relationship management, programming, legal and PR to make sure campaigns fit with overall brand initiatives and communication timelines

  • Provide support for the team including scheduling meetings, ordering office supplies, merchandise/premium ordering and inventory maintenance, compiling campaign overviews and team status reports

  • Maintain team budgets including processing of all invoices/POs/payments to vendors

  • Assist in creation, sharing, and presenting of brand plans for client/internal presentations

  • Proactively seek out information to gain a comprehensive understanding of our industry including our content offerings, emerging technologies, distribution platforms, industry trends, competitive landscape to influence our marketing strategies and initiatives

  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, mornings, weekends and/or occasional travel

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of related marketing or business experience with an understanding of marketing fundamentals, creative evaluation, and budget management

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task on a high profile, high volume portfolio

  • Detail oriented self-starter with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail requires

  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Knowledge of and interest in the evolving media landscape and media consumption habits

  • A healthy appreciation for the content on the ESPN family of networks

  • Experience with social media platforms

  • Must be able to travel as needed

  • A sincere love for sports, media and entertainment industry and a desire to grow the business with respect to our goals and objectives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other office tools: SharePoint, Teams, Google Docs/Forms

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

  • Project Management.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Education

  • Marketing degree preferred
