The Recruiter will support recruitment for multiple functional areas and demonstrate recruiting best practices to support our world-class talent acquisition efforts in support of ESPN domestically.  The team brings the expertise of attracting, engaging and advocating for the highest performing talent in the marketplace, while championing diversity, equity and inclusion, and exceeding the expectations of our clients.  If you're passionate about acquiring top talent in the competitive media landscape, we'd love to hear from you.

If selected for this role, you will report to our Manager, Talent Acquisition, and will be on-site in our Bristol, CT headquarters (placement in Charlotte, NC or New York City offices might be potentially considered).

What You Will Do:

  • Manage full life cycle search from sourcing and external pipeline building to offer negotiation and new hire on-boarding, while delivering memorable candidate experiences
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the business by connecting dots for translating business needs into executable staffing talent strategies
  • Manage searches or projects with project management methodology inclusive of recapping strategy meetings and developing search plans
  • Effectively articulate the business case for diversity and deliver diverse candidate slates
  • Develop search strategy, including market intelligence research/data and leveraging social media channels (creating a target list of competitor companies, identifying names of passive candidates and forecasting the time frame to successfully complete the search)
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to develop a strong understanding of the department culture, business strategy and talent profiles to deliver on the hiring needs of the business
  • Advocate for career mobility by providing coaching, feedback, and mentorship to internal talent
  • Maintain the highest standards of candidate experience and client account management, reflected in measures of success and efficiency through hiring leader and candidate surveys
  • Conduct in-depth screens and assess potential candidates for level of interest, qualifications and align on compensation through pay transparency practices
  • Partner with compensation and hiring managers to determine and define attractive and competitive job offers
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Contractor and EEO/Diversity policies
  • Represent Company for recruiting purposes at identified networking and industry events, job fairs and conferences
  • Participate in assigned projects that support HR and Talent Acquisition objectives

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to consult with clients about talent needs; design and execute inclusive recruitment strategies around those needs
  • Experience using social media tools for attracting, marketing, engagement, networking, and sourcing; to include but not limited to: LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook
  • Experience with Workday or equivalent Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience meeting standard KPI’s
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and autonomous environment where high-volume requisitions and multiple projects are the norm
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with leaders and peers within the organization both within and across geographical markets
  • Proven ability to support/interact with senior-level management
  • Excellent consultative, presentation, facilitation and influencing skills and outstanding attention to detail and results oriented
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and work as a team player

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Full life-cycle recruiting experience developing and executing fully comprehensive sourcing/recruitment strategies
  • Experience using various Talent Acquisition systems such as Workday, Beamery, Schedule Olivia, etc.
  • Proficient in utilizing various tools such as Excel, Google Docs, Smartsheet, Airtable, etc.
  • Experience developing and telling data-driven stories

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $81,500 to $99,700 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
