Job Summary:

The Corporate Real Estate Operations group is responsible for day-to-day facilities and operations management of owned and leased facilities to ensure business is conducted in a clean, safe, and efficient work environment and that the value of Company physical assets is protected and enhanced.

Responsibilities

  • Reports to the Client Services Manager
  • Provides coordination support for booking of conference rooms, meeting spaces, common areas or multipurpose venues for event related activities on the Bristol ESPN Campus
  • Monitors and responds daily to the Campus Events shared email inbox, ensuring timely and professional responses to client inquiries
  • Supports event logistics in collaboration with the Client Services Manager, ensuring all operational details are executed smoothly
  • Performs a variety of administrative, clerical, and semi-technical tasks related to event planning and execution.
  • Partners with our trades, janitorial, risk management, and fire life safety to ensure comprehensive support for events
  • Works closely with ESPN Global Security for parking arrangements, guests lists and identification related items.
  • Maintains and updates guidelines and policies for amenity spaces, ensuring consistent adherence across all events.
  • Provides onsite supervision during events, as needed, serving as a representative of the Corporate Real Estate Operations, Client Services team.
  • Responsible for coordinating all aspects of CRE support for all Bristol production shoots outside of studio spaces & special client visits.
  • Creates internal communication messages for campus events & production shoots
  • Utilizes AutoCad, Adobe, or other software tools to design and produce event layouts and visual materials.
  • Creates temporary signage requests to help promote initiatives, reserve locations, or for campus event and production shoot related needs
  • Ensures all events comply with TWDC directives, safety protocols, legal policies, and risk management policies

Required Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience

Required Work Experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft office programs
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multi-tasking skills
  • Must be a team player and have a positive attitude
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a customer-service mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor Degree in hospitality, communications or applicable field or equivalent experience

Preferred Work Experience

  • 2 or more years of event & conference planning experience
  • Hospitality work experience
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA safety and life safety standards
  • Familiarity with utilizing AutoCAD, Adobe, or Service Now software platforms


The hiring range for this position in Connecticut is $49,200.00 to $66,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
