Job Summary:

As a Talent Office Data and Analysis Specialist at ESPN, you will work with the Talent Office team to identify and assist with long-term planning for Talent and Talent needs at the company. You will be responsible for building and maintain relationships with Talent and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain internal data focused records related to ESPN Talent (Ex. salaries, contracts, deal points, contract expirations).
  • Provide Talent reports as requested to assist with Talent negotiation and usage management.
  • Manage various other Talent databases and electronic files as requested.
  • Create and maintain shared collaborative Talent Office “watch list” of external Talent for succession planning.
  • Manage data-focused Talent database(s) and electronic files to make informed decisions on utilization of Talent to make recommendations to Talent Office Team.
  • Develop deep knowledge of ESPN content, including understanding the cadence of specific sport calendars, usage of Talent across all platforms.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with talent and their representatives.
  • Maintain updated contact information and lists for Talent and Talent representatives.
  • Provide assistance with other Talent Office data and analytics needs as requested.
  • Assist in onboarding/offboarding of Talent and other Talent Office administration needs as requested.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to compile and disseminate other Talent Office data and information analytics as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of (public facing) Talent Office or Talent Relations experience.
  • High level of trust and confidentiality to work with sensitive information daily.
  • Able to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with managing and overseeing Talent data or schedules.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing departmental databases.
  • Professional and diplomatic in dealing with both internal and external personalities.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Must be a self-starter.

  • Bachelor’s degree

The hiring range for this position in Bristol, CT is $57,810 – $77,550 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
