How will you contribute to our magical experience?
We’re looking for an Analyst, Content Analytics to analyze content performance and audience engagement, applying advanced analytics to understand consumption across Disney+ and Linear TV channels. You will collaborate with the Regional Content Manager in the creation of audience insights by driving data-driven thinking, automated reporting, and strategic storytelling. In this role, you will build strong relationships to support key decisions throughout DTC strategies and operations.
The Analyst, Content Analytics will be responsible for:
- Dive into the heart of Disney content offerings, leveraging cutting-edge reporting, visualization, and insights delivery techniques.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to conduct in-depth analyses of SVOD and Live content, boosting consumption levels and ensuring content stands out in a competitive landscape.
- Employ a profound understanding of live streaming, linear TV broadcasting, and content performance to deliver strategic insights that guide programming and drive continuous platform growth.
- Partner closely with key business stakeholders (including ESPN, Marketing, Acquisitions, and DTC Programming) to identify and unlock opportunities to maximize content performance.
- Take the lead in hosting impactful presentations and meetings, transforming complex data into compelling narratives that inspire confidence and pave the way for innovative content strategies.
- Stay on track with key streaming, digital, and linear consumption metrics to maintain a granular, deep-dive understanding of audience behavior.
- Track multi-platform audience evolution in the marketplace, keeping up-to-date with industry shifts, competitor case studies, and proactively promoting market insights within the company.
- Contribute to the constant improvement and development of new tools, dashboards, and methodologies for data analysis.
- Go beyond standard automated reporting to analyze the underlying consumer behaviors and drivers behind audience consumption.
What we need from you to be part of this story:
- +2 years work experience analyzing large datasets.
- +1 year of hands-on media / content analytics (SVOD, OTT) is preferred.
- Demonstrable and solid experience using data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI to create interactive dashboards and reports.
- SQL knowledge is a must. Proven experience for querying and manipulating large datasets in environments like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.
- Programming experience with Python or R for data analysis.
- Knowledge of statistical and Machine Learning models (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, time series) to solve business problems.
- Experience analyzing digital media consumption metrics, subscription models (SVOD), or advertising models (AVOD) is a plus.
