How will you contribute to our magical experience?

The Director, Ad Sales will be responsible for defining and executing the advertising sales strategy across the South Cone region. This executive will drive sustainable revenue growth, lead high-performing sales teams, and build long-term strategic partnerships with key advertisers and agencies, ensuring alignment with The Walt Disney Company’s broader business objectives.

This role operates with a strong commercial and strategic mindset, combining deep market expertise with a hands-on leadership approach, and collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to maximize the value of Disney’s advertising ecosystem across platforms.

The Director, Ad Sales will be responsible for:

  • Implementing comprehensive advertising and sales strategies to achieve revenue and business objectives.
  • Managing, motivating, and coaching the sales team, including setting quotas, monitoring performance, and participating in hiring and professional development.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and advertisers to ensure loyalty and drive sales growth.
  • Analyze sales data, local market trends, and competitive insights to forecast revenue, set targets, and present regular performance reports to leadership.
  • Negotiate and close agreements with clients and agencies, as well as managing contracts and relationships with external partners.
  • Oversee and efficiently manage advertising and sales budgets for the Southern Cone.
  • Inspire individual and business success by clearly communicating the “why” behind business decisions and connecting teams to the big picture.
  • Define strategies, expectations, and priorities, ensuring that the team’s actions align with the company’s goal.

What we need from you to be part of this story:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven executive-level experience in advertising sales, commercial leadership, or business development, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem, including digital advertising, CTV, streaming platforms, social media, and optimized linear/addressable television.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and forecasting capabilities, with experience managing complex commercial portfolios and using sales data and market insights to drive decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, scale, and motivate high-performing sales organizations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-suite executives, senior clients, and key partners.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across multiple functions and geographies within a matrixed organization.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to align commercial initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • High level of adaptability, accountability, and problem-solving capability in fast-paced environments.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a deep understanding of end-to-end commercial and sales processes.
  • Advanced level of English is required.
  • This role requires international business travel.
