How will you contribute to our magical experience?

The Manager, Content Analytics will join the Content & Engagement Analytics team, focusing on providing insights into content performance across the Disney+ platform in Latin America.

This role involves leading a team of analysts while being responsible for the creation of various reports and data deliveries related to viewership and content consumption. The main objective is to understand audience preferences and deliver strategic recommendations to shape content curation and strategy.

The position requires close collaboration with key departments such as Programming, Marketing, Operations, and Digital, ensuring all stakeholders’ needs are met while managing timelines and priorities.

Additionally, the role will involve working closely with the broader Data & Business Intelligence teams to support data-driven decision-making and contribute to the team's overall success.

The Manager, Content Analytics will be responsible for:

  • Lead a group of 2 analysts and be responsible for team development and mentoring.
  • Provide guidance, training, and ensure the timely delivery of accurate and actionable data insights.
  • Oversee multiple project statuses and set priorities.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and data sets.
  • Create custom reports and visualizations for easy understanding of content performance.
  • Generate insights and recommendations to improve platform performance and suggest the best content strategies for curation, programming, acquisitions, and development based on viewership and engagement metrics.
  • Be a content expert and maintain constant communication with main stakeholders.
  • Lead weekly and monthly meetings to inform about content consumption.
  • Present findings and insights in executive-level presentations, highlighting key opportunities.
  • Create performance keynotes for business upper management.
  • Work closely with other areas of the company, including the larger Data & BI team, to create a holistic and synergistic understanding of content consumption by gathering multiple data sources.
  • Be responsible for follow-up action plans and ensure requests are completed in a timely manner, exceeding stakeholders’ expectations.

What we need from you to be part of this story:

  • 7+ years of proven experience in data analytics or consumer insights, ideally in Media (SVOD, OTT, websites), Technology, or any other related field. 
  • Leadership experience, including managing teams and driving initiatives.
  • Strong ability to identify opportunities to support business needs and uncover actionable insights.
  • Data-driven mindset with strategic thinking to translate data into business recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and colleagues.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Google Data Studio, and Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of databases (SQL, AWS, Snowflake) and working with large datasets.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Familiarity with data science tools like R and Python is a plus.
  • Knowledge of IBOPE/Nielsen ratings methodology is a plus.
