How will you contribute to our magical experience?  

The Senior Tech Recruiter will play a pivotal role in our recruiting team at The Walt Disney Company, serving as the primary point of contact for hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle. This 12-month temporary role is focused on sourcing, interviewing, and selecting top-tier technology talent while applying best practices to ensure a seamless recruitment experience. With emphasis on developing robust candidate pipelines, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment aimed at achieving exceptional results.

In this position, you will be responsible for full-service client management and the recruitment of technology and engineering disciplines. Partnering closely with client stakeholders, you will create and execute effective recruitment strategies to identify top-level talent. By leveraging innovative sourcing techniques and industry best practices, you will ensure that the organization attracts the finest candidates to meet its technology needs.

The Senior Tech Recruiter will be responsible for: 

  • Serve as a consultative recruitment expert, guiding hiring managers in talent acquisition strategies and providing insights into the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Manage the complete recruitment process, including sourcing and interviewing candidates, while partnering closely with hiring managers to meet their specific needs.
  • Attract and convert passive candidates by effectively communicating the company’s value proposition and the benefits of available positions.
  • Conduct detailed screenings & interviews of technical candidates to evaluate interest, qualifications, and compensation expectations.
  • Employ innovative sourcing and branding techniques across platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and diversity-focused sites.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and CRM tools for efficient workflow tracking and candidate management.
  • Generate recruitment analytics and reporting to measure effectiveness, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement in recruitment strategies.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to stay updated on competitive landscape and industry trends in technology recruiting.
  • Share and promote best practices in the recruitment process to help elevate the overall effectiveness of the recruiting team.

What we need from you to be part of this story:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 4+ years in technical recruiting, with experience across software engineering, system architecture, data services, and related disciplines.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing comprehensive sourcing and recruitment plans.
  • Track record of meeting hiring metrics, including time to fill, quality of hires, diversity, and veteran placements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to mentor peers and lead projects.
  • Deep experience using social media for sourcing and branding, including advanced Boolean and semantic searching.
  • Proven expertise in engaging senior-level management and advising on recruitment strategies.
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to analyze job descriptions and candidate profiles effectively.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Excellent consultative skills and a proven track record of building collaborative relationships.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-wide ATS and a results-oriented work environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
