How will you contribute to our magical experience?
The Supervisor, Pricing and Retention will join the team to support the development and execution of price rise implementation roadmaps across all LATAM markets, assist in price rise and promotions implementations, and monitor performance post-launch across multiple data sources. Will also deliver regular pricing and cohort performance reports, identifying trends and insights, and using these to shape immediate and longer-term strategic actions/decisions that drive profitability.
This role is essential for inform future price and promotion strategies by triangulating insights across multiple sources (including past price changes), and modeling impact of different strategic options.
The Supervisor, Pricing and Retention will be responsible for:
- Support in the development of DTC-wide promotions and offers aligned to the subscription consumer lifecycle.
- Partner with Research/Insights teams to translate customer survey data into actionable scenarios.
- Develop robust monitoring analytics to track promotions impact and provide recommendations.
- Maintain competitive pricing and promotions tracker for short-term and long-term strategies.
- Support business cases and financial models to drive acquisition, winback, upsell, and retention offers.
- Collaborate with Subscriber Growth & Monetization team for integration into planning.
- Provide stakeholders with ad hoc analysis, insights, and executive-level presentations.
- Work with regional counterparts on pricing and promotion research best practices.
- Conduct cohort analysis to identify the target cohorts for monetization and retention, develop and monitor strategies, and feed findings into future strategies and planning
What we need from you to be part of this story:
- +4 years of relevant experience for a direct-to-consumer business in pricing/analytics/go-to-market, finance or management consulting.
- Advanced data and modelling skills with ability to support the building of financial/ subscription models for different price and promotion scenarios and tackling broader analytical analyses in Excel is critical.
- Excellent PowerPoint and accompanying verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to distil complex ideas into structured outputs.
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in and across teams.
- Experience working in fast moving environments.
- SQL experience and data visualization with Looker is a plus.
- Experience in conducting cohort analysis and developing cohort monetization and retention plans is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of cohort analysis, ideally in a high-growth DTC subscription business or consumer tech business with a role focused on retention is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of price and promotion strategy inputs and business case development using Excel is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of price rise implementation in a DTC subscription business, and how to monitor and measure the impacts is a strong plus.
