About the Role & Program
Disney Entertainment’s Research, Insights & Analytics (RIA) division serves as a center of excellence, consisting of more than 100 world-class researchers who measure all aspects of media consumption across a wide range of networks, digital properties, and SVOD services to guide The Walt Disney Company.
This role will support the Social Media Analytics team, a subset of the Content, Consumer, & Brand Insights team, which is responsible for providing actionable, data-driven consumer insights to inform decision-making for Development, Programming, Marketing, and Strategy across some of the most recognizable brands on television.
This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, CA area from June 2026-January 2027.
What You Will Do
The Social Media Analytics Intern will collect and analyze social media data related to key television programs, brands, and talent through the use of social listening and analytics tools. The intern will help identify trends, craft insights, and develop presentations and deliverables that inform important Marketing, Programming, and Development decisions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with ABC and Freeform television series.
Previous experience working at a network or studio.
Previous internship experience in a related research and/or social analytics field.
Experience with social listening or media monitoring tools.
Advanced computer skills; SPSS, Tableau, or Snowflake experience a plus.
Advanced PowerPoint and design skills a plus.
Education
Junior or Senior year preferred.
Major or previous coursework in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Sociology, Psychology, or a related major is preferred.
Required Materials
Candidates are asked to submit a sample of an analytical or insights-driven project they have completed.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Possess unrestricted work authorization.
Additional Information
This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, CA area from June 2026-January 2027.
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship.
Fully available Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week.
Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Burbank, CA area.
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
