Corporate Alliances is responsible for forging innovative and inspirational marketing partnerships around the world to drive incremental profitability to TWDC through unique and diverse value streams across the enterprise.
As part of Corporate Alliances, the Branded Card Services team is responsible for creating and cultivating direct-to-consumer relationships with The Walt Disney Company’s most strategic customer segment. It does so by managing Disney’s co-branded credit card business, which is both an operating unit as well as a cross-business unit loyalty program.
The Role
The Content Marketing Manager sits within the Marketing team and is responsible for blog and social marketing targeted at prospective new Disney Visa Cardmembers as well as Cardmember newsletter. The role is responsible for content development, performance evaluation, tactic-level marketing execution, and agency management.
The successful candidate will have:
Experience in campaign marketing including programmatic media, search, and social media
Extremely strong relationship skills due to the need to work collaboratively with multiple internal and external partners
Strong content development skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
Responsibilities
In this role, the Content Marketing Manager will be given immediate responsibility and be expected to operate as a core part of the team.
This entails:
Managing the planning and execution of marketing tactics including creative development, test plans, tracking requirements and tactic implementation
Developing campaign schedules and managing media budget
Reporting on performance and identifying trends in social engagement, site traffic, conversion rates and application rates
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related discipline or equivalent experience
5+ years of work experience in content or social marketing roles or related field
Experience developing content for social, blog and newsletters and tracking performance
Strong creative skills
Ability to summarize campaign performance, interpret trends and reporting findings in a clear and effective manner, verbal or written
Paid and organic digital marketing experience
Experience working with reporting tools, preferably experience with web analytics tools (such as: Adobe)
Knowledge of Office skills
Strong process orientation
Proven success of driving results/ability to follow through, creativity & innovation, and priority-setting
Ability to operate independently while keeping peers, partners, and supervisors abreast of activities
Detail oriented
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $126,800 - 170,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
