Job Summary:

FX is seeking a Coordinator, Events to play a pivotal role in supporting the Events team with administrative and logistical support, contributing to the seamless execution of premieres, awards events, internal events, and festivals. The coordinator will work alongside the team to help shape and manage innovative campaigns and event ideas that align with the FX content and brand. This role requires a detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable individual who is creative and self-motivated.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for events, ranging from working through contracts, tracking RSVPs, and creating confirmations for attendees to working check-in tables, providing on-site ad hoc event support, and interfacing with senior executives and FX talent.

  • Create grids to maintain organization and accurate timelines, including budget and invoice tracking to ensure financial accuracy and timely approvals.

  • Work evenings and weekends as needed to support events.

  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including itineraries, bookings, and expenses.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 1+ years of administrative experience in events/publicity/agency/studio/network preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), experience with Adobe and Google Suite a plus.

  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills required.

  • Must be motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented, reliable, self-assured, and able to prioritize work and meet deadlines with minimal direction.

  • Ability to work well in a high-volume atmosphere with various personalities tactfully

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and interact professionally with senior executives, talent, and their representatives.

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed.

  • Ability to independently travel locally throughout the Los Angeles area to support events, site visits, and venue walkthroughs as needed.


The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $54,000 to $72,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
