About the Role & Team
The Legal Operations Department is a strategic partner to the Disney Legal and Global Affairs organization, and a key role to help things run smoothly within Legal Operations is the Coordinator. This role will coordinate and facilitate events, logistics and serve as a critical triage point to getting people to the resource they need.
What You Will Do
Records
- Serves as the contact point for visiting vendors and legal team members, coordinating schedules and ensuring logistics during visits.
- Maintains the ordering process for box retrievals and returns to ensure timely and accurate handling of physical documents.
- Shifts and organizes boxes on shelves, and transports between rooms to maintain workflow and accessibility.
- Tracks and manages box inventory by maintaining accurate data in spreadsheets and database to ensure proper documentation and easy retrieval.
- Coordinates with legal and research teams to provide timely updates on order status and box locations.
- Assists with the intake process for offsite storage and scanning of boxes.
- Prepares weekly scanning projects ensuring all boxes are labeled, recorded, and ready for digitization.
- Conducts quality assurance checks for accuracy and completeness of scanned documents.
- Maintains box schedule for disposition or offsite storage in compliance with retention policies.
Updating the LGA Insider
- Make simple updates to content on the Insider as a communication vehicle.
Events
- Arrange all logistics and details to ensure various legal events and activities are seamless and properly coordinated with the Company’s relevant departments, including hosting Zoom/Teams sessions.
- Ensure smooth running facilities support (ordering supplies, escalating issues, providing forms for visitors, parking passes).
- Provide Departmental event management and communications support.
- Provide general administrative support to the Legal Administrative Department as needed.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Office suite, specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, as well as Microsoft Access, Project, and SharePoint.
- Facility with web-publishing tools, communications platforms, basic project management principles preferred.
- Must be service focused and dedicated to making the overall project team successful.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an instinct for efficiency.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
- Proactive by nature and aggressive willingness to follow through.
- Ability to lift boxes up to 25lb.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ related experience preferred
Education
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $58,700.00 to $78,600.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
