We are seeking a dynamic individual who is looking to establish a career in Social Media. As a key contributor to the Social Media team, the Coordinator serves a critical role as a primary point-person for all Disney Kids & Family social media programs, and provides best-in-class support to bring those programs to life. The Coordinator works across all aspects of social media, including but not limited to scheduling, asset management, campaign assistance and production assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Social Title Marketing team as a creative voice on campaigns, assisting with management across campaigns from production through launch

  • Schedule and upload social posts and assets to content and asset management systems, ensuring deliverables and hitting deadlines across campaign needs

  • Create work orders for all video and design requests

  • Prepare and organize weekly assets for social media managers to use for social calendars

  • Coordinate with Affiliate Sales & Marketing to schedule any video content needed for specific affiliate campaigns

  • Audit and maintenance of content on various platforms post-launch

  • Update department documentation (rollout documents, presentations, campaign plans) as needed

  • Assist the Social Title Marketing team with additional tasks as necessary, including serving as back-up for other department coordinators when needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience, preferably in social media

  • Experience in children's programming

  • Active social media presence across platforms

  • Creative, proactive and independent thinking

  • Strong creative writing skills

  • Effective communication skills in both verbal and written form

  • Ability to build and manage relationships

  • Extreme attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines

  • Ability to learn new systems quickly

  • Knowledge of social media landscape

  • Experience with social media content management systems

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Keynote


The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $52,700 to $72,300 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
