Job Summary:

About the Role & Program:  

Portfolio Management is part of the Global Portfolio Management & Transactions, Corporate Real Estate (“CRE”) team, which is responsible for managing TWDC’s worldwide real estate portfolio and providing real estate support enterprise wide.  The goal of TWDC’s Global Portfolio Management & Transactions group is to provide and implement strategic and economic real estate solutions for our many lines of business, as well as align with TWDC’s overall corporate policies and procedures.

The culture of the Global Portfolio Management & Transactions team is one of continuous improvement and cross-functional development. This team also interfaces and collaborates closely with in-house partners including Transaction Management, Design & Delivery and Operations.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, CA area from June 2026 – January 2027.

What You Will Do:

As the CRE Portfolio Management Intern, you will primarily assist the Portfolio Management Team in various phases of workplace tracking, analysis and planning as well as with real estate database management and portfolio reporting. You will become well versed in the business processes required to support Corporate Real Estate, as well as data standards and reporting best practices. 

Some of your responsibilities could include:

  • Assisting with developing data visualization tools to present metrics and KPI’s to enhance data driven decision making and optimize space utilization strategies across TWDC’s portfolio

  • Real estate portfolio database management and tracking

  • Data analysis, reporting and assembling presentations for senior management

  • Identifying opportunities to improve data collection, maintenance and analysis

  • Collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure constant information exchange, as well as regional project management teams to help develop business justifications and ensure alignment between portfolio strategies and business objectives

  • Assisting with developing stack plans, dashboards and other reporting tools

  • Conducting space audits, assigning room numbering, occupancy tracking, and interacting with TRIRIGA

  • Assisting with workplace planning and drawing file management

Required Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to analyze multi-faceted issues in relation to the market, business, and long-term space planning 

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to prepare written business cases, as well as professionally respond to and prioritize correspondence  

  • Team player with a positive attitude who can handle confidential information

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Power Point)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using PowerBI

  • Strong interest and/or previous exposure to transaction management, brokerage, strategy development, asset management, and/or client services within the finance, legal, commercial, and/or corporate real estate environment 

Education: 

  • Junior or Senior preferred

  • Major or previous coursework in Real Estate, Business, Urban Planning, Interior Design, Architectural Design, Architecture, or a closely related field 

 

 

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information: 

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program

Additional Information: 

  • Candidates must be available to work full-timehours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship, during normal business hours (8:30am-5:00pm).

  • This internship is an on-site position, but also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace for the days you may work from home.

  • Able to provide your own housing and reliable transportation for the duration of the internship program

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
