About the Role & Program

Would you like to gain a deeper understanding of the digital marketing industry? Then this opportunity is for you! The Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team provides an opportunity to learn about the utilization of data for marketing purposes. We provide Disney businesses, such as Walt Disney Studios, Disney Channel, and Marvel, mentorship on the optimization of marketing programs by learning about our customers.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Burbank, CA area from January 2025 - June 2025.

What You Will Do

The intern will provide support to our Campaign Managers on the development and design coordination of email marketing creatives, audience segmentation, deployment of campaigns, as well as analysis of campaign performance. On any given day, you might:

  • Coordinate with various Disney Business Units to collect and prep/export assets for campaign execution and develop campaign reports
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite to develop email marketing creative, and export these assets
  • Assist with CRM testing, and campaign QA, providing insights from performance data

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Solid understanding of digital marketing platforms such as social media, email, or paid search, as well as data analysis
  • Proactive with attention to detail, and strong interpersonal communication skills highlighting your passion and excitement in both team and independent work
  •  Basic knowledge of HTML or HTML tools
  • Intermediate Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop user

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in Digital Marketing with experience in project management
  • Experience with reporting tools (i.e. Advanced Excel, Tableau)
  • Experience with email marketing tools (i.e. Mailchimp, Constant Contact)
  • Experience with additional Adobe Creative Suite programs (i.e. Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator)

Education

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) before participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at the time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Currently enrolled or graduated within the past six months majoring in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a closely related program

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

Additional Information

  • The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 – June 2025, in Burbank, CA
  • Full availability required to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.00 per hour.
