Do you have a passion for music, Disney, and a keen interest in pursuing a career in the music business? Disney Music Group (DMG) is the music hub for The Walt Disney Company, encompassing all aspects of music commercialization and marketing: recorded music (Walt Disney Records and Hollywood Records), Disney Music Publishing, and Disney Concerts. The International Marketing Summer Intern will play a key role in supporting global campaign planning and execution across DMG global and international titles. This role offers hands-on experience in collaborating with international partners, tracking global performance metrics, and supporting the rollout of campaigns across key international markets. This internship is ideal for someone passionate about global culture, music, marketing, and cross-market collaboration.
The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through August 2026.
What You Will Do
- Assist with the rollout of international campaigns for DMG soundtracks, catalog, and frontline artist projects.
- Support international market teams by preparing campaign toolkits, asset packages, and communication materials
- Track and compile international performance metrics (streaming, UGC, social engagement, press, and radio highlights) into weekly recaps and dashboards
- Conduct global market and audience research to identify trends, emerging platforms, and local cultural insights
- Help maintain international campaign calendars, release timelines, and project trackers
- Participate in campaign brainstorm sessions, contributing ideas for social and fan engagement
- Coordinate meeting prep and follow-ups (agendas, notes, presentation decks, etc.)
- Support ad hoc tasks related to creative, localization efforts, approval routing, and content distribution workflows
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Familiarity and/or strong interest in global music culture, international markets, and digital marketing
- Experience managing and organizing multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
- Experience working in collaborative environments and communicating and/or presenting ideas
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management tools (Airtable, Smartsheet, and/or similar program)
- Familiarity with social platforms, streaming services, and digital media trends
Preferred Qualifications
- Project experience in entertainment, music, marketing, or global brand environments
- Knowledge of regional streaming platforms, global pop culture trends, and international content localization
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or basic asset editing tools
Education
- Major or previous coursework in Music Business, Marketing, International Studies, Media, or related fields preferred
- Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year preferred
Eligibility Requirements & Internship Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Additional Information
- Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
- The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through August 2026
- Fully available to work 40 hours per week during a Monday through Friday schedule
- Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Burbank, California area
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
The pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
