20th Television is looking for an executive assistant to support 2 Vice Presidents in the Comedy Development department. This is a high volume, fast-paced desk, so the perfect candidate will have superior organizational and communication skills, is highly motivated and detail-oriented, and can remain calm under pressure. Job responsibilities include standard assistant duties, including rolling calls, scheduling meetings and notes, and reviewing and weighing in on material.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with various administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, rolling calls, and processing expense reports
- Watch cuts and read incoming scripts to share notes
- Update grids with staff lists and production calendars
- Create clip selections from dailies for internal viewing
- Track incoming material and staffing submissions
- Collect information for timely internal memos
- Be familiar with all internal department points of contact, as well as their counterparts at the Network or Streamer
- Take notes on meetings and calls
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience as an administrative assistant on a high-volume desk in entertainment
- Able to present information in a confident, well-articulated, creative and engaging manner
- Proven ability to multitask and work independently with little direction and follow up, in a team environment, with changing priorities
- Literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and Airtable
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Critical thinking & problem-solving skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to take on a variety of tasks to contribute to the overall success of the team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working at a studio, network, or agency
- Relevant coursework in film/television
- Passion for learning and eagerness to be a team player
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $54,000 to $72,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
