Job Summary:

Disney Entertainment Television’s unscripted team is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the VP of Unscripted Programming and VP of Primetime Specials. As an Executive Assistant, you will materially impact the productivity and efficiency of the team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual capable of consistently achieving results in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. The candidate should be a creative thinker capable of consistently achieving results in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment, possess an ability to maintain confidentiality and manage high level relationships with sensitivity, and work independently. 

As an Executive Assistant, the successful candidate will effectively balance changing demands, manage a dynamic schedule, and function well under pressure. Additionally, the Executive Assistant will build collaborative relationships with other executives and assistants throughout the company. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is required.

Responsibilities:

Provide overall administrative support for the two Vice Presidents including but not limited to:

  • Scheduling meetings across multiple time zones, departments, and brands while respecting the need for flexibility and adaptability in an ever-changing environment
  • Answer/roll calls while generating a comprehensive understanding of the industry and agency landscape
  • Manage all worldwide travel arrangements and trip tracking/oversight (flight, hotel, car, meeting coordination) and all related expense management
  • Prepare and track expense reports
  • Coordinate credentials and manage set visits for senior leadership and talent as needed
  • Set up meetings, submit drive-on passes and various other administrative tasks
  • Managing office environment by maintaining supplies and SAP purchasing
  • Take meeting minutes and track action items
  • Serve as a liaison by managing, sorting, and forwarding internal and external inquiries to the appropriate individuals
  • Interact with a wide variety of Disney and external contacts on behalf of the executive
  • Coordinate and manage audience ticket requests for internal and external stakeholders
  • Visit active show sets as a representative of DET, serving as an on-site liaison and ensuring all guests receive a positive experience
  • Handle internal and external communications with high degree of diplomacy
  • Handle confidential and other sensitive information

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience at an agency, production company, studio, or network in an administrative capacity
  • Passion for a career in unscripted TV programming
  • Strong technical proficiency in all Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) as well as information systems
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail while handling multiple, simultaneous projects under strict deadlines
  • A confident and positive attitude and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong oral and written communication skills


The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $54,000 to $72,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
