The Facilities & Security Coordinator plays a key role assisting the Global Security & Content Protection team in Burbank. The Coordinator role is closely tied to our Facilities function and will specialize in security systems and supporting the facility physical security needs in Burbank. This role will also serve as a support function and report to our Manager, Facilities & Security.
The following duties would part of this Coordinator position:
Corporate Facilities/Operations Responsibilities (75%)
Ensure Visitor/Entry Security Policies are being followed at Burbank offices
Assist with greeting and processing guests at our Burbank HQ (Reception coverage)
Handle mail and delivery sorting, distribution, logging
Handle all phone calls to the office main lobby
Execute entries for Studio Lot Drive Ons and other access requests
Execute badging, access control programing, key management, visitor management, etc.
Assist with travel planning, billing, and administrative functions for the department
Assist with maintaining and updating the Security Operations Reference Guide
Liaison with Disney Facilities, Disney Security, Digital Studio, and Parking Management
Potentially some travel for on-site security for events, screenings, film shoots, etc.
Work closely with Technical Operations and Production teams to support secure script reads, deliveries, and distributions
Working with the local Manager, orders office supplies, food/beverage, and related office items
Works closely with the Manager to support internal events, celebrations, and gatherings
Provide internal website support
Provide support at internal company store
Security Responsibilities (25%)
Participates in the Crisis Management and Emergency Response program for Marvel Studios
Work closely with Security Specialist and Facilities Manager relating to the destruction of sensitive documents, security escorts for guest/vendors, Lot access reviews, and general office related security functions
Monitor CCTV cameras
On-set production security support when required

Minimum Qualifications:

Some experience in Security, Facilities, and/or theatrical production needed
Expected to work in the office 5 days a week
Must be flexible and work production hours in some situations
Some weekend and evening work may occur
Must be on-call/available (at least by phone or email) 24/7 for security emergencies
Some travel is possible with this position
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $50,300.00 to $65,000.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
