Job Summary:

Disney Aviation Group provides air transportation to support needs of The Walt Disney Company and conduct operations to the highest safety standards. The Line Services Assistant is responsible for the servicing support for all Disney Aviation Group aircraft, scheduled charter aircraft, and support for all facility maintenance and operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Marshaling planes during arrivals and departures
  • Greeting pilots, passengers and crew
  • Towing aircraft
  • Providing basic service for aircraft, e.g., cleaning, fuel, oil, lavatory, water, etc.
  • Driving vehicles in areas congested with moving and stationary aircraft, vehicles and equipment
  • Transporting clients and assisting with baggage
  • Ensuring hangars, tarmac and client areas are kept clean and orderly
  • Ensuring a safe environment by complying with BUR Airport procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Maintaining hangar and office facilities
  • Maintaining ground support equipment
  • Providing all around top-quality service
  • Manage aircraft refueling and quality control functions
  • Coordinate with aircraft scheduling and executive security team.
  • Coordinating aircraft ramp activity with neighbor operator/tenants
  • Assist Crew Chiefs with inspections and maintenance
  • Managing Hazardous Waste & Materials
  • Managing and scheduling BUR Airport maintenance.
  • Managing and scheduling facility related vendors
  • Managing and scheduling aircraft cleaning related vendors.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in aviation line service activities
  • Must be willing to work any shift in a 7-day operation, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is essential function of the position
  • A valid clear driver's license
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly

Required Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $64,300 to $86,200 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
