The role of the Corporate Brand organization is to combine a deep understanding of our global consumer with strategies, initiatives and campaigns to both protect and grow our brands and key franchises.
The Manager - Brand Integration & Governance will help manage the successful management of The Walt Disney Company’s YouTube Channel and Audience Governance Program in conjunction with the execution of our enterprise-wide YouTube initiative. The Manager will be responsible for managing governance workflows between core stakeholders (Legal, YouTube channel owners) across the company to ensure compliance.
Responsibilities:
Collaboration & communication:
Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful growth of YouTube strategy and governance program
Be key contact to work with YouTube stakeholders across the enterprise on any Governance Program related topic
Create regular updates for Brand Leadership and key YouTube stakeholders to ensure awareness and understanding of Program updates and changes over time
Share and implement best governance practices for content uploads, metadata management, and legal compliance
Governance:
Facilitate governance and tracking of The Walt Disney Company’s YouTube Channel & Audience Program; Areas of focus include, but are not limited to:
Channel & CO Reporting
Support the accurate tracking of all TWDC YouTube channels and necessary info
Work with channel owners and other stakeholders to ensure regular updates and distribute reporting to necessary partners
Program Administration
Help facilitate the successful processing of new channel creation or deprecation
As necessary, assist the video review process between Compliance teams and YouTube channel owners
Strategy execution:
Execute the strategy and stakeholder management for new channel creation or deprecation
Coordinate with necessary stakeholders the solutioning of any video governance and potential transfer of videos across channels
Coordinate the migration of channels between Disney O&O Content Managers.
Reporting:
Strong understanding of YouTube Analytics and ability to report on channel performance and revenue as needed
The ideal candidate will have deep experience and knowledge of YouTube channel management, key performance metrics, and business development, strategic thinking, relationship management and performance analytics.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of business management experience; Digital/Data background preferred.
3+ years of Entertainment experience preferred
Quantitative analytic skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and positive attitude and a desire to get things done
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in California is $139,200 to $170,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
