We are seeking a Manager of Marketing Strategy to join our team at Freeform. In this role, you will be expected to bring big ideas to the table with the strategic thinking to back it up. The successful candidate will be passionate about Gen Z and Millennial culture and how to connect with our audience in meaningful ways. A big picture person with a knack for appreciating the minute details, you can wrangle information from multiple sources, distill it and repackage it with a nice easy-to-read bow on top. Always two steps ahead, you will love solving creative problems and be an excellent communicator.
Responsibilities
Develop Freeform Original Series and stunt strategy briefs under the direction of Executive Director.
Manage cross-functional team planning to develop and execute campaigns, including leading
weekly meetings, developing campaign overviews, and owning project documents (marketing
timelines, status reports, budgets, etc.).
Collaborate and consult with Creative and Social teams on strategy and audience mindset.
Build presentations for key stakeholders.
Lead cross-functional team on post-campaign analysis.
Meticulous oversight of deliverable execution for paid media (excluding social) and marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with Research & Consumer Insights teams on Marketing needs.
Serve as the main point of contact for cross-functional teams like Affiliate Sales & Marketing,
Digital, and CRM to represent Freeform priorities.
Basic Qualifications
4+ years experience in marketing strategy, research/consumer insights, or related field.
Proven understanding of media/advertising and entertainment marketplace.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Keynote.
Ability to tell a story with a clear narrative structure in presentation format.
Strategic planning skills.
Collaboration. Collaboration. Collaboration.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate vision to different stakeholders.
Interpret directions and take ownership of assignments to completion. TLDR; own your stuff.
Must be detail oriented, work well under deadline pressure, and be extremely flexible.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $102,000 to $136,700 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
