Job Summary:

At Disney Branded Television Creative Marketing, we are seeking a highly skilled and naturally creative individual to join our team. In this role, you will conceptualize, write, produce, and edit exceptional trailers and promotional spots for both linear and direct-to-consumer (DTC) campaigns. You will report to the Creative Director but will work with and across the marketing organization towards the common goal of creating award-winning and attention-getting campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating innovative AV promotional executions and content, under the supervision of the Creative Director.  Working within the framework, allocated budget, and timescale
  • “Prediting” original creative AV campaigns, either in-house or, when necessary, collaborating with a creative agency.
  • Being a key member of the team responsible for planning and implementing creative specifically suited to DTC and linear titles
  • Working with Marketing teams, and other departments to produce creative assets (Brand, Social, Performance, PR, short form, sales tapes, creative pitches etc.)
  • Ensuring compliance with standards and practices and legal and financial procedures
  • Provide support with creative approvals as needed
  • Interpret and respond to complex briefs
  • Sometimes work with outside vendors as part of the “producer” portion of the role
  • Sometimes attend shoots

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience producing and editing content in a professional capacity
  • Proven experience developing AV materials.
  • Proven experience writing for promos and trailers.
  • Proven experiencing editing promos and trailers with innovation in mind
  • Working knowledge of all production processes is useful – storyboarding, scripting, creating briefs, editing, directing V/O’s, sometimes shoots and GFX.
  • Proven experience presenting to executive stakeholders
  • Proven experience working in a fast paced, agency-type environment.
  • Proven ability in managing multiple projects at a time
  • Excellent Adobe Premiere Editor (with knowledge of others such as Avid and Final Cut a plus)
  • Solid Knowledge of After Effects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent stake holder management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience


The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $112,100 to $150,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
