FX is seeking a Publicity Coordinator to support the execution of consumer print and digital media campaigns for FX Original Programming. Responsibilities include maintaining press materials and program listings, distributing press materials, and providing general administrative support for the Vice Presidents, Publicity.
Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day administrative and logistical support for assigned series publicity campaigns
Gather, proof, and distribute press materials, including bios, key art, trailers, and episodic information
Maintain show status reports, coverage tracking, media lists, contact sheets, and research materials
Draft and distribute press materials, including tune-in and ICYMI alerts, and talent itineraries for media appearances, press tours, and events
Select clips for talent media appearances and deliver assets in partnership with Legal and Marketing
Provide general administrative show support to the publicity team, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and maintaining records
Provide administrative support for Publicity VPs, including travel coordination, expense processing, and scheduling
Verify and distribute programing listing updates to the national media services for FX, FXX, FXM, and FX on Hulu titles
Provide on-site support for Los Angeles-based events and assist with talent logistics as needed
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications or a related field, or equivalent work experience
2+ years of experience in a television publicity or related field
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Resourceful with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment with minimal direction
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Proven ability to collaborate effectively and engage with diverse personalities, including senior executives, media, and talent
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with talent, media, or entertainment publicity teams
Familiarity with media monitoring tools, such as Muck Rack, and social media platforms
Strong understanding of social media and digital trends
Experience building presentations and decks (PowerPoint, Canva) to support campaign planning, reporting, and communications
Additional Information
Hybrid schedule: Monday–Thursday in office; Friday remote. Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed. Based in Burbank, CA.
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $52,700 to $72,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
