Job Summary:
The Sales and Digital Specialist focuses on and supports multiple verticals within the Sales and Digital Department. This includes guiding DMG’s efforts in opportunities with voice technology and marketing for smart speakers, handling the editorial placement of music on fitness applications and being the liaison with select digital accounts. They are responsible for the delivery of podcasts produced by DMG to podcast platforms via the corporate distribution agreement, ensuring accurate lyric delivery to DSPs, facilitating UGC sound delivery and claiming, oversight for pertinent Wiki pages, as well as managing pivot pages and QR Codes as needed.
Responsibilities and duties:
Fitness Account Liaison
Run point on DMG's relationships with various fitness applications, including Peloton, Supernatural, Medrhythms, and more.
Identify ways to creatively support DMG releases with fitness partners. Consider the uniqueness and demographics of each platform to best attain pertinent opportunities. This includes but is not limited to, soliciting support around tentpole anniversaries, major film & TV releases, and artist priorities.
Liaise with internal team members to secure approvals for all branded efforts.
Analyze and evangelize the results of campaigns once they have concluded. Use this information to aid in future planning.

Voice and Smart Speaker Development
(Voice = the process of asking digital assistants for results. Ex: Alexa, Play Let it Go)
(Smart Speakers = devices that answer to voice calls to action. Alexa, Hey Google, Siri, etc.)
Constantly have a finger on the pulse as it pertains to the latest voice assistant technology (Siri, Alexa, Google).
Brainstorm, present, and execute innovative and creative ways to market DMG’s releases using a voice call to action (e.g. social asset ideas, advertising ideas)
Ensure an efficient workflow is in place for executing creative initiatives to support projects in a timely manner
Regularly analyze DMG’s voice data to see where we might be able to lean in and incrementally increase streaming consumption through voice requests and measured results
Point Person for Select Digital Accounts
Liaise with select digital partners to market Disney releases for consumption on their platforms.
Develop and grow new opportunities with burgeoning new offerings.
Podcast Delivery
Facilitate with internal DMG teams developing podcasts to see that pertinent materials are delivered through the podcast supply chain with TWDC Platform Distribution Ops.
Work with internal teams to create and execute social and digital marketing for podcast support.
Regularly measure and share results on podcast listening.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Required:
3+ years of experience in the music industry or similar in the area of technology and/or digital marketing & development.
Experience with working with 3rd party partners
Experience and familiarity with smart speakers and devices.
Insatiable curiosity
Ability to multi-task
Attention to detail
Passion for music
Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through skills
Ability to learn proprietary software as needed
Must have experience with Outlook and Microsoft programs
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree
This position is 4 days a week in our Burbank office.
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, California is $81,100.00 to $104,800.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
