About the Role & Team

The role of the Corporate Brand organization is to develop a deep understanding of our global consumer in order to develop strategies, initiatives and campaigns to both protect and grow our brands and key franchises. The Brand Marketing team works to elevate and amplify Disney brands and franchises across the global The Walt Disney Company ecosystem through creative-driven marketing campaigns to maximize the long-term growth and health of our brands.  The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing all administrative support for two VPs and their team members.

This role reports to the Vice President of Brand Marketing and also supports the Vice President of Digital Management and Operations.

What You Will Do

  • Manage calendars and meeting schedules
  • Handle phones and maintain contact lists
  • Make travel arrangements
  • Create and manage expense reports and invoices
  • Manage office and kitchen supplies, printer and recycling requirements, coordinating with other assistants
  • Handle Employee onboarding/exiting requirements as directed by the VPs
  • Provide back-up support for Brand Stewardship, including tracking Corporate Identity (business stationery) requests, maintaining the Brand Central intranet site (uploading files, etc.) and trafficking brand stewardship approvals
  • Provide support on team projects (such as internet research)
  • Partner with other assistants in Corporate Brand Management to ensure effective, efficient management of the department

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of administrative support experience, ideally in marketing departments
  • Detail-oriented
  • Proven success in driving results / ability to follow through, creative & innovation, and priority-setting
  • Ability to operate independently while keeping peers, partners, and supervisor abreast of activities
  • Competency with Microsoft software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Orientation to identify needs and step in to help

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience and working knowledge of The Walt Disney Company is an advantage, but not essential.

A passion for brands and being able to see things from a consumer perspective is also an advantage for any brand stewardship work.

Education

  • H.S. diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, California is $60,400 to $80,900 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
