Job Summary:

About the Role & Team

The Corporate Treasury department manages the Company's global liquidity and financial risk, ensuring Disney has the flexibility to invest, innovate, and grow. Treasury oversees key relationships with banks and rating agencies, manages foreign exchange (FX) and interest rate hedging programs, drives financing and capital-raising activities, leads global cash management activity, leads the enterprise consumer payment strategy, and directs the investment of retirement assets that support employees across the company.

The Treasury Operations team supports Corporate Treasury by acting as an independent point of control for trade legitimacy and the preparation of payments for settlement for all Treasury hedging, debt-servicing, investment/liquidity activities and collateral management activities.

This full-time role reports to the Senior Manager of Treasury Operations and is responsible for providing operational and settlement support activities — trade confirmations, settlements, cash projections, and documentation — across Treasury’s trading portfolio and activities.  The role also supports compliance and risk monitoring, including SOX testing and policy adherence, counterparty exposure monitoring, as well as daily collateral exchanges with banking counterparties to ensure timely, accurate settlement and strong operational controls. Sitting at the center of all Treasury activities, this team is uniquely positioned to add value across the department through close collaboration with colleagues across Treasury, the company and our trading partners.

What You Will Do

  • Trade Settlement & Cash Management: Execute and oversee daily middle-office settlements, cash movements, and settlement-instruction maintenance across debt, FX, interest rate swap, commercial paper and money market transactions, including daily cash projections.
  • Monthly Netting & High-Volume Processing: Lead the monthly netting process and contribute to managing high-volume, mid-month processes on tight timelines.
  • Reporting & Trade Documentation: Prepare and deliver daily settlement, position, cash, and mark-to-market reports; maintain accurate trade documentation for debt, derivatives, and FX transactions; conduct trade research and investigations.
  • Collateral Management: Oversee daily collateral management and margin exchanges with banking counterparties to ensure timely, accurate settlement and strong operational controls.
  • Compliance & Risk Monitoring: Perform SOX and internal control testing, monitor adherence to Treasury policies, analyze counterparty credit exposure, and partner with Finance, Legal, and Compliance on regulatory matters such as ISDA documentation, KYC, and sanctions screening.
  • Process Improvement: Partner across Treasury teams to simplify activities, improve straight-through processing, better leverage existing systems, and identify opportunities to apply AI and workflow automation tools across settlement, reporting, and collateral workflows — improving efficiency and reducing manual effort and data keying without sacrificing controls.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • At least three years’ experience in finance, accounting, audit or similar roles
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.  MS Office Suite and Excel expert proficiency a must; possessing the ability to work with pivot tables, lookup functions and macros as well as the latest data visualization, automation and intelligence tools (Tableau, Claude, CoPilot, etc.)
  • The successful candidate will be a highly efficient problem solver with excellent organizational and prioritizing skills as well as attention to detail.  Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary
  • Inherent curiosity and the ability and desire to quickly learn new subject matters

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of financial instruments with a background working in a treasury, finance, banking or brokerage environment.
  • Experience driving automation, process improvement, or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems such as Reval, Misys, and online banking portals or similar platforms

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other applicable field, or equivalent work experience.
