Join a dynamic team that is responsible for the strategic sourcing of Professional Services for The Walt Disney Company, building relationships with key executives, advising on market engagement to identify the best supplier partners, leading deal negotiations, and helping to optimize cross segment supplier relationships.

What You Will Do

The Sourcing Specialist is a pivotal role focused on improving our organization's procurement and sourcing strategies through expert management of professional service contracts. This individual will play a role in driving value and efficiency in our partnerships with third-party suppliers and consultants. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate the entire contract lifecycle for professional services, from initiation and execution to post-award administration.
  • Implement sourcing strategies, conduct competitive bids, and negotiate contracts to secure efficient terms and cost savings.
  • Work closely with the legal department and internal stakeholders to align on contract terms and conditions.
  • Research and evaluate using established criteria to select high-quality suppliers and consultants.
  • Prepare RFIs and RFPs in line with organizational policies.
  • Perform market research to support ongoing category analysis and identification of new opportunities.
  • Engage in continuous learning to remain current with industry best practices, demonstrating unwavering integrity and ethics.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • At least one year of strategic sourcing experience
  • Contract administration experience
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Building relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior executives
  • Strong strategic agility
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Basic negotiation skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Ability/desire to work in a diverse environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Services Sourcing background is a plus.
  • Experience working with and/or for firms who provide consulting and advisory services
  • Experience supporting a contingent workforce program
  • Experience working in Coupa and Per Angusta.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $84,600 to $103,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
